Privacy is important here – rooms are scattered across the property – and we particularly love the wooden-clad spaces, each one with a private pool, and a terrace for summer night stargazing. Plus, the interiors remain light, bright and breezy – it’s very fitting to Comporta with lots of linen, tonal colours and natural materials. While it’s hard to leave the landscape, it’s clear that this is a must-stay for those wanting to sink into slow living all the while dipping their toe in the local village life. The best of both worlds…it helps the food (organic, mind you) is good too.
