This remote hiking destination can be somewhat tricky to get to, but it’s well worth the journey. One of the first tented camps in Peru’s Colca Valley, this remote retreat is surrounded by wild grasslands and inspired by canvas tents of Andean explorers. Made stylish and comfortable, inside you’ll find soft bedding, solid wooden furnishings and writing desks for daydreaming. We also like staying in the cosy, main house for more structure (literally). You’ll fall in love with the scenic outdoor bath (is it not the most insane spot for an all-weather soak?). Everything is wonderfully curated and intentional – they’re explorers after all, so naturally, the activities and experiences for campers are very special, including hikes to pre-Inca fortresses and picnics near volcanic geysers.
