There are lemon and grapefruit trees in the garden, rolling hillside views and romantic hand-painted frescoes on the ceilings with stories to tell. The small scale of it all means that owners Elizabeth and Johnny really feel like they’re your hosts with the best tips on exploring the surrounding hilltop towns. They’re also there to pour your coffee at breakfasts where there’s a laid-back sense of occasion thanks to beautiful tablescapes and delicious home-baked cakes. We have a serious crush on their (very impressive) collection of porcelains and ceramics, artfully dotted around. Sip freshly squeezed grapefruit juice under the vines and soak it all in under the Tuscan sun.
