Bear with us, we're trying all the pillows for you...
This idyllic B&B was built in 1754 by architect Pierre Racine before being transformed by Christèle Ageorges and Hubert Delance into the charming retreat. And the duo take particular care of you during your stay – and it’s a stay in which you'll settle into one of five guest rooms across three beautiful wings, each with spacious bathrooms, sink-in tubs and stripped back interiors. This peaceful getaway is about switching off, particularly in the monastic Pilgrim Cottage – perfect for overnight stays en route to Bordeaux. Location-wise, you’re in a good spot for Camino de Santiago (walkers rejoice), a few hours from Paris and even closer to Bordeaux. It’s a great road trip stay.
