Staays

This is a grown-up (French) country living at its best: you’re surrounded by beautiful vineyards and rolling hills. Right there in the middle of the Medoc, this well-known wine-growing region is home to this charming chateau with a lovely story. Owned by Louis Gaspard in the late 18th century, he was determined to hone his wine-making and travelled near and far to introduce his wine. You’ll spot nods to his travels throughout the hotel (India was his favourite spot), and there’s a nice mix of contemporary with everything you would hope for in a chateau. Every meal takes the best of the best when it comes to local French produce. This is a chateau with flourish.
