Hôtel de Crillon has been a hotel since 1909. Built in the 18th century at the request of Louis XV, it used to be a place to welcome and host the greatest ambassadors of the world when they were visiting France. More recently, they went through a four-year complete revamp, bringing in the likes of the late Karl Lagerfeld to design Les Grands Appartements rooms. All the furniture was made to measure for the hotel but also features beautiful art from previous centuries, blending old world with 21st-century modernism. Need something? Each room comes with a butler too.
