Bear with us, we're trying all the pillows for you...
When a slopeside hotel – this one being in Zermatt, in the shadow of the imposing Matterhorn – pairs slick design with lots of soul, you know it’s going to be a good stay. It’s ski-in, ski-out, meaning long days on the slopes, swishing over to Italy and back, which is made that much easier as you’re also not far from town so getting a bit of the buzz is only moments away. Inside, there’s a more contemporary hunting lodge feel than an old-school chalet with a nice focus on sustainability – food is local, and the team are trained through a ‘Cervo school’. Come for the après (they lure in some serious DJs) but stay for the spa.
