It helps Comporta is so quietly calm and unspokenly cool that it often feels like a privilege to stay here. Originally a family holiday home, it was decided that this spot was almost too good not to share with friends and travellers. Interiors are minimal, simple and undeniably stylish – natural materials and tonal shades. We love the living room with the ‘carpet’ of sand, potentially the greatest example of inside-out living.
